Clínicas de Gastroenterología de México is the official scientific communication channel of Asociación Mexicana de Gastroenterología (AMG), A.C., which is the main source of financing for the journal. 

The journal firmly supports the open access initiative and does not charge authors for production or publishing of their manuscripts. All works published in the journal are open for readers without charge under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).
